As you begin to expand and anchor your medicine into the world, you’ll find that the most well meaning people will try to redirect you back to smallness.
As we’ve been in the process of locating, funding, and acquiring the physical home for InSoma Institute, I’ve heard a range of the following:
“Why not just rent a place? You don’t need to own it.”
“Why not just rent space or do pop ups in someone else’s building?”
“Have you thought about staying online instead?”
Not because they hate my ideas or are trying to cause harm, but because the method we’ve developed is non-traditional… and it’s supposed to be.
No one is here to see your vision clearly but you and the people the spirit has placed to support you in it.
When your medicine is first of its kind, it won’t make sense and many people won’t understand it until it’s built. That’s exactly how it’s meant to be.
The problem is that most people try to either soothe the doubters or let the doubt sway them. Which is normal. We seek validation from the people around us to help us to understand that the choices we are making are sound.
But if you are here to create something, that’s never been created… If you are here to revolutionize and innovate… The decisions you are making are not sound. They can’t be. Not to anyone whose reasoning is based off of information that has come before you.
It’s popular to be “delulu“ but what no one really understands is that it’s not just a trend. It goes beyond choosing delusional ways of acting and being so you can manifest what you want. Instead it’s about letting yourself make choices that go against all logic… and instead, forcing logic to meet you where you have decided to go.
When I decided to build InSoma Institute, I didn’t choose to emulate something I’ve seen before. I received and invented the blueprint for something that would change the game when it comes to holistic healing and the way humans can live in the world. I developed a model that forced me to go all in on a process that other people don’t have the ability to see fully. Instead, they say “I would do things this way for profit purposes, Angie.” Or “maybe you should wait a little while before you move on that piece, Angie.” Or “But why do you have to go so big so fast, Angie? You don’t even have all the pieces you need.”
But it’s the people who are here to create a new kind of change in the world who hold the responsibility of sticking to the plan that the Divine has placed in your mind and heart against all logic, and doing exactly what is needed to force logic to bend to not just your will but Divine will.
Because it’s your story, the first person to do things the way that you have been called to do things, who creates the proof that it can be done.
Doubt was never about you.
It’s a road sign that tells you you’re on exactly the right path. Don’t you dare get off it.
